Job Opportunity: Endoscopy RN

Location: Salem, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Schedule: 40 hours per week, Dayshift (7:15 AM - 3:45 PM)
Unit Description:
- Endoscopy unit with 7 procedure rooms (4 MAC, 3 Conscious Sedation)
- Holding and recovery rooms included
- Open weekdays with on-call coverage for evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
Patient Population: Diverse
Patient Ratio:
- 1:1 in procedure rooms
- 1:2-3 in Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
Bed Count: 18 PACU bays, 8 procedural rooms
Daily Volume: 60-70 procedures per day
EMR System: EPIC
Floating: Not required
Shift Rotation: May be required depending on hours; department open 6:30 AM - 5:30 PM

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Massachusetts
Minimum 2 years of Endoscopy experience, including experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Experience as a GI Technician in Endoscopy
Proficient in Olympus scope set-up, handling, and reprocessing
