Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical

Location: Mequon, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Provide nursing care on a medical/surgical unit with telemetry monitoring (read telemetry).
• Must have at least 2 years of medical/surgical nursing experience.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system required.
• Work schedule includes NIH (Night In-House), every other week (EOW), and every other holiday (EOH).
• Must be willing to float within skill set to other units or sites within 40 miles if needed.
• Nail policy: No artificial or acrylic nails; natural nails must be short (< 1/4 inch).

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin.
• Minimum 2 years of medical/surgical nursing experience, with at least some experience within the last year.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system.

Additional Information

• Must comply with facility policies regarding appearance and conduct.
• Floating to other units or nearby sites may be required based on staffing needs.
• Annual updates required for certifications, immunizations, and competency exams.
