Description
Registered Nurse - Postpartum
Location: Newton, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- 36-hour rotating shifts based on department needs (not guaranteed)
- Schedule: 3 shifts of 12 hours each
- Shift times: 7:15 PM – 7:15 AM or 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Work every other weekend and rotating holidays
- Postpartum nursing experience is required
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
- Minimum of 1 year of postpartum nursing experience, with recent experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Additional Information
- Prior travel experience is not specified as required
- Rotation schedule is subject to change based on department needs
- All license and certification verifications must be completed and updated as required before onboarding
- No religious or medical exemptions allowed for respirator fit testing
- Positive TB test requires documentation of a negative chest x-ray (optional but recommended)
