Care Manager - ED

Location: Bronx, New York
Employment Type: Acute - Allied
Contract Length: 14 weeks
Shift: 7 hours per day, 35 hours per week


Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to serve as a Care Manager in the Emergency Department with responsibilities including care coordination, utilization review, and discharge planning.


Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York
  • Minimum 5 years of Acute Care Case Management experience, including experience within the last year
  • PRI and Screen Certification (must be obtained within three months of employment)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program
  • Experience in care coordination
  • Experience in the Emergency Department (ED)
  • Experience in utilization review
