Registered Nurse (RN) PACU – Long-Term Assignment

Location: Fresno, California
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

• Immediate start available
• 36 shift start times available at 3:00 PM or 7:00 PM (primarily 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM shift)
• Position in Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California
• Minimum 1 year of recent PACU (Post Anesthesia Care) experience
• BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Experience working with pediatric patients
• Experience working with Level 1 or Level 2 trauma patients
• Experience in an inpatient setting
• ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience
• Stroke care experience

Onboarding and Compliance Requirements

• Primary source verification of RN license and certifications within 30 days of start, updated upon expiration
• Criminal background check within 30 days of start (7-year county, national, SSN trace, employment verification, OFAC, NSO), updated every 3 years
• Education verification (diploma, degree, transcripts, or board certification) prior to first assignment and upon requalification
• Manual searches for OIG, EPLS, OFAC, National Sex Offender, and state healthcare exclusion lists within 30 days of start and updated annually
• Drug screen within 30 days of start (9-panel minus THC), updated annually; retesting required if break in service > 30 days
• Clinical skills checklist completed within 1 year of start
• Signed acknowledgements and agreements including policy packet receipt, dispute resolution, confidentiality, and assignment confirmation
• Badge photo with neutral background, no facial jewelry

• Prior travel experience is not specified as required
• This is a long-term assignment (LTA) lasting approximately 13 weeks
• Shift start times include 3:00 PM or 7:00 PM, with the primary shift being 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
