Description
Registered Nurse (ICU) - Long-Term Assignment
Location: Franklin, Wisconsin
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Work on an Acuity Adaptable Unit (not a pure ICU) with exposure every other week to End of Week (EOW) and End of Hour (EOH) duties.
- Care for post-catheterization patients.
- Experience with Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) required.
- Experience with balloon pump and Swan-Ganz catheter is a plus.
- Competency in sheath pulls required.
- Must be proficient with EPIC electronic health record system.
- May need to float onsite within skill set or to other nearby sites within 40 miles as needed.
- Prior travel nursing experience is required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Wisconsin.
- Minimum 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience, including ICU experience within the last year.
- Completion of at least one travel nursing assignment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Experience with Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT).
- Experience with balloon pump and Swan-Ganz catheter.
- Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system.
