NICU Registered Nurse Travel/Contract Job – New Jersey (Voorhees)

Job Details

• Location: Voorhees, New Jersey
• Employment Type: Travel/Contract
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Day shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Hours per Week: 36 hours
• Floating: Required to float within 5 hospitals based on needs (within skillset)
• Patient Ratio: 1:2
• On Call: None
• Scheduling: Block scheduling NOT allowed
• Holidays: Every other week schedule (EOW) with 1 winter holiday and 1 summer holiday required
• Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New Jersey
• Minimum of 2 years of NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care) experience, with NICU experience within the last year
• BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Epic electronic health record system
• Prior travel experience is accepted but not preferred (first-time travelers considered)

Important Notes

• Return to Office (RTO) documentation must be submitted at time of application; late submissions will not be accepted
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the hospital will receive a local rate adjustment (not disclosed here)
• Facility-specific documents such as badge photo and non-employee access forms must be completed by specified deadlines to avoid start delays
• Fit mask testing must be completed onsite; outside fit tests are not accepted
• Dysrhythmia competency testing may be required depending on unit assignment (not specified for NICU)
