Registered Nurse (Rehab) - Travel Position

Location: Dallas, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Facility Overview

50-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital
Specializes in rehabilitation for stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
Accredited for Comprehensive Integrated Inpatient Rehabilitation and Stroke Specialty Programs
Patient population includes adults recovering from major surgeries and complex conditions

Position Details

Role: Registered Nurse (RN)
Specialty: Rehabilitation, Medical-Surgical
Shift: Night shift
Weekly Hours: 36 hours
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Patient Ratio: 1 nurse to 7 patients
Equipment used: IV pumps, EKG machine, bariatric beds, medication dispensing systems
Electronic Health Records (EHR): Cerner and Epic

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
Minimum 2 years of rehabilitation nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Rehabilitation nursing experience specifically in a rehab setting
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
