Registered Nurse (Rehab) - Travel Position

Location: Dallas, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Facility Overview

  • 50-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital
  • Specializes in rehabilitation for stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
  • Accredited for Comprehensive Integrated Inpatient Rehabilitation and Stroke Specialty Programs
  • Patient population includes adults recovering from major surgeries and complex conditions

Position Details

  • Role: Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Specialty: Rehabilitation, Medical-Surgical
  • Shift: Night shift
  • Weekly Hours: 36 hours
  • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
  • Patient Ratio: 1 nurse to 7 patients
  • Equipment used: IV pumps, EKG machine, bariatric beds, medication dispensing systems
  • Electronic Health Records (EHR): Cerner and Epic

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Texas
  • Minimum 2 years of rehabilitation nursing experience, including experience within the last year
  • Rehabilitation nursing experience specifically in a rehab setting
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
