    Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Mother-Baby / Couplet Care / Post Partum

    Location: San Francisco, California
    Employment Type: Travel/Contract
    Shift: Evening (5 shifts per week, 8 hours each)
    Hours: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, 40 hours per week
    Contract Length: 13 weeks


    Job Description

    • Provide direct patient care using the nursing process: Assessment, Planning, Implementation, and Continual Reassessment.
    • Serve as a patient advocate and coordinate care.
    • Promote safety and clinical/service quality in daily practice.
    • May float to Labor & Delivery to assist as a baby nurse.
    • No on-call required.
    • Work schedule includes every other weekend.

    Required Qualifications

    • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.
    • Minimum of 1 year of Maternal-Newborn nursing experience, with recent experience within the last year.
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
    • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Academy of Pediatrics.
    • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
