RN - Rehab - Contract

New York, New York

Contract Length

13 weeks

Schedule

Night shift: 7:00pm–7:30am
Every other weekend
3x12 schedule

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New York
Rehabilitation experience within the last year
2 years of rehabilitation experience
BLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience in a rehabilitation setting
2 years of mechanical ventilation experience
MedSurg experience

Preferred

EPIC experience
Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
Associate degree in nursing considered only with relevant experience and/or active matriculation in a BSN program

Role Highlights

Provides direct patient care using the nursing process and evidence-based practice
Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team on care planning and patient education
Supports patient experience, quality, safety, and process improvement initiatives
May perform charge nurse duties
Documents nursing care accurately and thoroughly
Facilitates patient throughput and helps manage supplies and staffing resources
