- 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- 40 hours per week
- Every other weekend
Assignment Length
- 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- Med Surg / Telemetry (1 year of experience)
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Key Responsibilities
- Manage nursing care from admission to discharge
- Support patient safety, comfort, hygiene, and restorative care
- Respond to medical and environmental emergencies
Work Expectations
- May float to other units within scope of practice
- May float to other campuses depending on need and census
- Must be flexible with floating between campuses or within the hospital
- Short notice may be given before shift start when floating is needed
