RN (Registered Nurse)

Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- BLS
- ACLS
- NRP
Clinical Responsibilities
- IV starts and infusions
- Foley catheter insertion and care
- Nasogastric tube insertion and care
- Feeding tube infusions and care
- Telemetry monitoring
- Head-to-toe assessments for med/surg and ER patients
- Floating between med/surg and ER
Unit Details
- Med/surg unit has 19 beds
- Usual nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4 or less, with up to 1:5 on nights
- Will work with 2 or more RNs on each shift
Orientation
- One week of orientation
Additional Notes
- Local placements are limited to 80 miles
- Must note if the clinician has ever worked for Sanford Health; if previously employed there, the end date must be at least 6 months before submission
- Badge in and out required
- Navy blue scrubs required
