Radiology Manager
Job Overview
- Travel/contract role in San Francisco, California
- Full-time day schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
- 13-week contract
- Will float across multiple campuses; daily shuttle transportation is available
Required Qualifications
- 8 years of MRI Technologist experience
- MRI Technologist experience within the last year
- Experience in Supervisor roles
- BLS certification
- ARMRIT or ARRT R certification
- ARRT MR certification
- Venipuncture
Role Summary
- Provides operational leadership for a multi-campus MRI program
- Oversees day-to-day MRI operations across multiple sites
- Manages staffing, scheduling, workflow, patient flow, and scanner utilization
- Supports clinical MRI scanning when needed due to staffing shortages or operational needs
- Responsible for MRI safety, regulatory compliance, coaching, onboarding, performance management, and workflow improvement
- Works with radiologists, nursing, anesthesia, and operational leadership
Clinical Scope
- Supports routine and advanced MRI services, including neuro, cardiac, body, musculoskeletal, breast, MRI-guided breast biopsy, pelvic, prostate, prostate ablation, and interventional MRI procedures
Additional Hiring Requirements
- Background check and various compliance/documentation items are required before start
- Full 7-year work history must be provided with no gaps
- Unit-specific skills checklist is required
- References are required by the staffing agency process
- TB screening, drug screen, physical exam, fit testing, and immunization documentation are required before start
