    Labor and Delivery RN

    Overview

    • Location: Fountain Valley, California

    Required Qualifications

    • Valid RN license in California
    • Labor and Delivery (1 year of experience)
    • Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
    • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
    • BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
    • NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure issued by American Heart Association
    • EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring
    • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
    • Copies of continuing education completed within the last 24 months
    • Unit-specific competency exam
    • Medication test/pharmacology competency exam
    • Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam
    • Infection Control/Bloodborne Pathogens exam
    • 2 references within 1 year of start in the current specialty
    • Physical exam within 1 year of start
    • N95 mask fit testing within 1 year of start
    • Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 1 year of start
    • Hepatitis B series or declination
    • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap
    • Measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella immunity or vaccination documentation
    • Flu vaccination or declination
    • Hepatitis C titer or declination
    • Drug screen within 1 year of start
    • Government-issued photo ID
    • Background check
    • Signed HIPAA acknowledgement
    • Signed confidentiality agreement
    • Signed job description acknowledgment
    • Signed traveler acknowledgment
    • Signed sexual violence and sexual harassment policy acknowledgment
