Schedule

• Nights
• 3x12-hour shifts
• 19:00–07:00
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call
• No floating to other units

Patient Population / Unit Focus

• Labor and delivery
• Antepartum
• Mother/baby/post-partum
• C-sections, including circulating for c-sections

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
• 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• Antepartum experience
• Post Partum experience
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
• EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring

• Unit-specific skills checklist
• Full 7-year work history in the application, including city and state, with no gaps
• 7-year background check
• Sex offender search
• Education verification
• Employment verification
• TB screening and clearance
• Drug screen
• Physical exam
• Fit test
• Flu vaccination or approved declination during flu season
• Tdap documentation
• Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B immunity or documentation
• Color vision screening if applicable
• Signed pre-start documents and orientation materials
