MS/Tele RN
Overview
- Travel/Contract RN assignment in Castro Valley, California
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
- No Sunday shift; rotating every other Saturday is required
- May be required to float to units in the Emergency Services Division
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NIHSS
- CPI
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Preferred
- BSN is preferred for RN positions
Role Details
- Universal Care RN role
- Writes initial nursing histories, assesses patients, develops care plans, evaluates care effectiveness, and provides direct patient care
- Coordinates care for a group of patients and supervises support personnel
- Assists physicians with exams and special procedures
- May function as relief Charge Nurse
- Cares for infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations
