Role Overview
- ER RN for a community hospital
- Travel/Contract assignment
- Locals allowed at the same rate
Schedule
- Night shift
- 3x12 hours
- 19:00 to 7:00
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Virginia
- ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience with Epic
Required Documents / Compliance
- Government-issued photo ID
- Complete application/resume
- NURSYS verification for RNs
- Permanent RN license; temporary RN licenses are not accepted
- Color blind testing
- Abuse reporting competency
- Physical exam within 1 year
- Tdap vaccine or declination
- TB screening within 30 days of start, or acceptable alternative documentation as stated in the source
- Drug screen within 60 days of start
- Flu vaccine or exemption documentation, if applicable
- Background check and other standard pre-start compliance items required by the source
