Overview

Travel/Contract role in Oakland, California
Day shift: 5x8 hours, 7:00–15:30
40 hours per week
Contract length: 13 weeks
Weekend requirement: every other weekend
On call: none

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California
Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Nursing

Floating

May float to other units within scope of practice
May also float to Ashby or Herrick Campus depending on need/census
Travelers should expect flexibility with floating between campuses or within the hospital
Shuttle provided if floating is requested

MS/Tele RN responsible for overall nursing care from admission to discharge, including patient safety, comfort, hygiene, disease prevention, restorative measures, and response to medical and environmental emergencies
