Overview

• Travel/Contract assignment in Tracy, California
• Night shift: 4x12 hours, 19:00–7:00
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Unit: Labor and Delivery

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California
• Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
• 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
• EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Ability to interpret fetal heart rate strips

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred for RN positions

Compliance and Onboarding

• 7-year background check required within 6 months of start
• Sex offender search required within 90 days of start
• FACIS Level 3 search required within 2 weeks of start and monthly after start
• California Medi-Cal search is required if FACIS III cannot be run monthly
• EPLS/GSA/SAM search required
• HHS/OIG search required
• Education verification required for highest level achieved, unless highest education level is high school
• Official transcripts/diplomas may be accepted only if verification attempts are unsuccessful and attestation is provided
• Employment verification required for up to 7 years of history; gaps over 30 days must be explained
• Unit-specific skills checklist required
• Employment application must include full 7-year work history with no gaps
• References are an Aya requirement only; Sutter does not require references
• TB questionnaire required within 90 days of start and annually
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray required within 90 days of start, with annual renewal for TB testing
• Physical exam required within 1 year of start
• Fit test required within 1 year of start and annually
• Negative 9-panel drug screen required within 6 months of start
• Flu vaccination documentation required during flu season
• Color blind exam required if applicable, completed in person by a licensed healthcare provider before start
• Respiratory safety clearance required before start
• State license verification required within 30 days of start
• NURSYS verification required within 30 days of start
• Tech cert verification required within 30 days of start
• Candidate must review and sign required facility documents before start
