MS/Tele

Overview

Travel/Contract RN role in Chesapeake, Virginia.
Unit: 6W Med/Surg Tele – Post-Surgical Unit.
High-volume post-surgical unit caring for urology and GYN surgical populations.

Schedule

Night shift: 19:00–7:30.
Schedule options: 3x12s or 4x12s.
Every other weekend, floating, and holidays within the contract are required.
For 4x12 schedules, overtime is paid after 48 hours.

Patient Ratio

Typical ratio is 1:7.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Virginia.
Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience).
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year.
BLS issued by American Heart Association.
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
Driver's License.
Experience with Epic.

Preferred

Previous travel experience.

Compliance / Submission Requirements

Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be accepted.
Submission must include:
- Completed Qualivis Cover Sheet
- Current NURSYS report
- All requested time off listed on the Qualivis Cover Sheet
Driver’s license must be provided for address verification prior to offer acceptance.
