Job Opportunity: RN Labor and Delivery

Location: Silver Spring, Maryland

Required Certifications and Credentials

• BLS (Basic Life Support): American Heart Association certification required for all direct patient care personnel.
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support): Required for RNs in Emergency Department; ENPC certificate also acceptable.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support): Required for RNs in CCU, ED, PACU, MICU, SICU.
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program): Required for RNs in Birth Center.
• AWHONN/Fetal Heart Monitoring Certification: Required.
• License/Certificate Verification: Must be dated within 30 days of start; online verification required.
• Fit Test: Required prior to start.

Health and Safety Requirements

• Trinity 9 Panel Drug Screen: Completed within 30 days of start (preferred within 14 days). Includes testing for multiple substances (NO THC).
• COVID-19 Vaccine: Proof of vaccine, booster, declination, or exemption required (declination not accepted in CA or IL).
• MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella): Proof of two vaccinations or IgG titer required.
• Hepatitis B: Proof of vaccination series required; titers not accepted.
• Influenza Vaccine: Recommended (optional), with proof or declination.
• Varicella: Proof of vaccination or IgG titer required.
• 2 Step PPD OR IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot): Required.
• Physical/Health Statement: Documentation from exam within last year confirming fitness to work.
• Trinity Specific COVID Questionnaire: Must be completed prior to start.

Professional and Compliance Requirements

• Trinity Code of Conduct Form: Must be signed and on file.
• Confidentiality and Information Security Agreement: Must be signed and on file.
• Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing: Specialty exam completed within the last year.
• Trinity Job Description: Signed copy required.
• Trinity OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) Check: Must be completed within 30 days of start.
• Trinity Skills Checklist: Provided by agency for clinical contractors; required.
• Trinity Profile: Resume, skills checklist (within a year), and 2 professional references required for submission.
• Conflict of Interest Disclosure Form: Must be signed and on file.
• Criminal Background Check: Federal, nationwide, and county checks for last 7 years, including SSN verification, dated within 30 days of start.
• Education Verification: Highest level of academic education verified and on file.
• EPLS (Excluded Parties List System) Check: Must be dated within past 30 days.
• GSA/OIG (Office of Inspector General) Check: Must be dated within past 30 days.
• Integrity and Audit Services Form: Signed within days prior to start.
• Joint Commission Testing (CORE Exam): Completed within the last year.
• NSO (National Sex Offender) Check: Must be dated within 30 days of start; all aliases searched.
• System Access Form: Must be completed and uploaded one week before start.

Additional Notes

• All required documents and certifications must be scanned and uploaded into the TrinityVMS system prior to onboarding.
• Drug screen and background checks must be current and meet specified timelines.
• Compliance with all Trinity Health policies and procedures is mandatory.
