MRI Technologist Position

Location: Not specified
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
Shift: Flexible; multiple openings with various days/shifts available. Preferences can be accommodated.
On-call: Yes, including holiday and some weekend rotations.

• Must hold ARRT registration in MRI
• CPR certification required

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of MRI and MRA procedures
• Ensure patient safety protocols are followed
• Assist Radiologists with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Operate MRI scanner, RF coils, MRI workstations, laser cameras, film processors, patient monitoring equipment, and MR injectors
• Assist patients in understanding procedures and screen for biomedical and metallic implants
• Take pertinent medical history and prepare patients (e.g., changing into gowns)
• Follow proper procedures and protocols for various MRI studies
• Serve as the first line of patient interface, maintaining professionalism and ensuring successful imaging outcomes
