Job Opportunity: Tele 4SW NSM - Bakersfield, California

Position Overview

Role combines charge nurse, clinical mentor, and manager responsibilities.
Provides on-shift leadership to ensure safe, high-quality, and compassionate patient care.
Supports staff and promotes a positive work environment.
Rounds on patients, addresses service or safety concerns.
Serves as a resource for clinical and interpersonal issues.
Takes charge nurse assignments as needed based on census and staffing levels.
Work schedule includes nights, every other weekend (EOW), and first to float.

Requirements

Valid RN license in California
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum of 1 year of Med Surg experience, with recent experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
Experience in charge nurse roles
Certifications required: ACLS, BLS issued by the American Heart Association, NIHSS
