Position Details

• Unit: Interventional Spine
• Location Address: 7 Vanderbilt Park Drive, Asheville or 2695 Hendersonville Rd., Arden
• Staffing:

  • 13 total staff
  • Day Shift: 3-4 RNs and 1 Radiology Tech per location
  • Night Shift: Not applicable
• Patient Ratios: 1:1 or 1:2
• Equipment: Vital signs monitors, C-Arm Fluoroscopy, Lead Aprons
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Cerner

Required Skills

• IV starts
• Knowledge of blood thinners and NSAIDs

Preferred Skills

• Proficient in patient assessments
• Experience with procedures such as:

  • Cervical & lumbar epidural injections
  • Sacral iliac joint injections
  • Hip injections
  • Medical branch blocks

Certifications & Licenses

• Registered Nurse License (RN)
• BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• NIH Certification

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the RN specialty
