Description
CT/XRay Tech - Travel Contract in California (Truckee)
Contract Details
- Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: Immediate / ASAP
- Schedule: Graveyard Shift
- 9:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- 40 hours per week
- Both nights and weekends (3 days on, 4 days off)
- Call Requirement: Minimal/occasional call for day shift only (10 AM – midnight)
Experience Requirements
- CT Experience: 3 to 5 years
- Prior Travel Experience: Not specified / not required
Position Details
- Solo position covering CT, X-Ray, and OR overnight
- Support provided by ER Techs for transport
- Heavier CT workload and emergency surgery cases
- Lower patient volumes (5 – 15 patients)
- 25-bed inpatient portable X-Ray, including chest X-rays
- No providers on site; closest provider support is ER Provider
Education & Certifications
- Certificate of completion from college or vocational school
- Successful completion of a Radiologic Technologist Program approved by JRCERT (minimum Associate’s Degree or equivalent)
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
- California Certified Radiologic Technologist (RHT)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
- California Fluoroscopy License
- No Nevada license required
Systems & Equipment
- EMR: EPIC
- PACS: Philips Eyesight
- Dictation: Nuance (trainable)
- Equipment: Philips and Siemens
This opportunity is ideal for experienced CT/XRay Technologists seeking a graveyard shift travel contract in a lower volume, supportive environment.
