- 8 and 10 hour shifts totaling 40 hours/week
- 3 shifts of 12 hours = 36 hours/week
- 4 shifts of 12 hours = 48 hours/week
- On-call: Not required
- Floating: Yes, within scope to meet facility needs
- Travel Pairs: Not accepted

- Pending License: Accepted if IN, compact, or temporary license is in hand prior to start
- Return to Office (RTO) Restrictions: Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays

Unit Information
- True ICU Stepdown unit with cardiac and medical patients
- Procedures include heart catheterizations, BiPAP, cardiac and vasoactive drips
- PCU Crisis Criteria applies
Licensing
- Must have Indiana RN license, compact license, or temporary license prior to start
- Online license verification required within 30 days before start
Required Documentation & Compliance
- Valid Driver’s License or Passport (clear copy)
- Background checks including:
- 7-year work/lived history
- SSN Trace
- County, Statewide, National Sex Offender checks
- FACIS Level III
- Education verification
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start
- Transcript or diploma (official copy)
- Education verification by 3rd party
- Medication Test/Pharmacology competency exam
- Unit competency exam
- Color Blind Testing (Ishihara or equivalent, 100% minimum score)
- Physical exam within 12 months of start
- Fit mask test within 12 months (specific approved respirators required)
- Negative 10-panel drug screen within 12 months
- Immunizations and titers:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (preferred)
- TB test (PPD, QuantiFERON, or T-SPOT) within 1 year
- Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella: Positive titer or 2 vaccines required, no declinations accepted
- Hepatitis B series, titer, or signed declination required
- Varicella: Positive titer or 2 vaccines required, no declinations accepted
- Seasonal Flu vaccination/documentation required (no declinations accepted)
- References: Minimum 2 from recent employment with supervisory titles, verified within 2 years
- Employment application covering last 7 years with explanations for gaps over 30 days
- Skills checklist within 12 months, updated annually
- Completion of facility-specific compliance and orientation documents prior to start

- IU Health will not allow Indiana RNs to work at their facilities after 11/30/24 except for Periop/OR, Allied, and Ambulatory RN travelers (not applicable here)
