Job Opportunity: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Location: Lafayette, Indiana
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Position Details

  • Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
  • Shift: Primary days with evening, nights, weekend, and holiday on-call coverage
  • Weekly Hours: 40 hours guaranteed
  • Call Requirements: After hours coverage including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays (on-call)
  • Required Certifications: ACLS
  • Years of Experience Required: More than 2 years
  • Prior Travel Experience: Not specified (assumed not required)
  • Float Requirements: No

Unit Information

  • Number of Beds: 2 Coronary Suites and 1 Electrophysiology Suite
  • Patient Ratios: 1:3-4
  • Equipment Used: Philips Allura, Axurion, Phillips Xper
  • EMR System: EPIC
  • Type of Patients: Cardiac patients

Skills and Experience

  • Must Have: Strong Cath Lab skills
  • Preferred: Electrophysiology (EP) training, team player, self-motivated

Dress Code

  • Hospital-provided scrubs required (no outside attire allowed)

Additional Information

  • Directions to the lab: Enter through the Emergency Room entrance, proceed past triage desk, down the hallway to the Heart Center waiting area.
  • Parking: Use the lot near the Emergency Room on the south side; employees park in the back section.

This position is ideal for experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Technologists seeking a travel contract with a well-equipped cardiac unit and a supportive team environment.
