Job Opportunity: CT Tech (Radiology / Cardiology)

Location: Jackson, California
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• ARRT R & CT certification
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC only)
• California State License required (primary source online verification within 30 days of start)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty (Radiology / Cardiology)
• Background checks including 7-year history, sex offender search, FACIS Level 3, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG, and others as required
• Negative 9-panel drug screen within 6 months of start (excluding marijuana/cannabinoids due to CA law)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure)
• CCRN (Critical Care RN)
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
• EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring)
• IV Certification (if applicable)
• Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB)
• NIH Stroke Certification
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute)
• Tech Cert Verification - National (within 30 days of start)
• State License copy and verification
• NURSYS Verification (for RN, LPN/LVN, AP)

Health & Immunization Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year of start (must indicate cleared for work)
• Fit mask test within 1 year, renewed annually (exceptions apply)
• Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap within 10 years
• Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 90 days, renewed annually
• Immunity or vaccination for:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B (series or declination)
  • Varicella
• Seasonal flu vaccination/documentation required during flu season (Nov 1 - Apr 30)
• Drug testing: Negative 9-panel drug screen within 6 months (excluding marijuana/cannabinoids)

Background & Compliance

• 7-year background check including aliases, county searches, nationwide sex offender search, education verification, and motor vehicle report if applicable
• FACIS Level 3 screening required within 2 weeks of start and monthly thereafter
• Education verification required (not required if highest education is high school)
• Employment application with full 7 years of work history, no gaps
• Work history verification up to 7 years, with explanations for gaps over 30 days
• References: 2 professional references required for clinical/allied/per diem acute care candidates

Facility Specific Requirements

• Candidate must review and sign various facility documents prior to start, including:

  • Regulatory Orientation
• TB Screening Questionnaire within 90 days of start, renewed annually
• Religious exemption forms available for PAPR and vaccine exemptions (Tdap, MMR, Varicella)
