Job Opportunity: RN (Registered Nurse) - Endo/GI

Location: San Bernardino, California
Specialty: Endoscopy/Gastroenterology (Endo/GI)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of Endo/GI nursing experience
Active California nursing license
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
COVID-19 vaccination required

Job Details

Unit: Endoscopy/GI Lab
Average procedures per day: 3-5 cases, including emergency cases
EMR system: Cerner-Surginet
Charge nurse responsibilities included
Call required on weekends and holidays (every other weekend)
Floating required to PACU/ACU
Shift length: 8 hours, varied shifts
Floor-specific orientation: 2-3 days
Common procedures: EGD, Colonoscopy, ERCP, MRCP, biopsies
Special scrubs provided by department
Hospitalist or Intensivist available in-house
Respiratory Therapy available 24/7
Pharmacy available 24/7

Call included as part of the schedule
