Job Opportunity: RN Perioperative Circulator - Surgery Center

Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Job Summary

The Perioperative Circulator is a Registered Nurse responsible for planning, coordinating, delivering, and evaluating nursing care for patients undergoing operative or invasive procedures. This role requires applying clinical knowledge, judgment, and reasoning to address the physical, psychological, and spiritual needs of patients in the perioperative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect professional nursing care to patients in the operating room.
• Continuously evaluate and document all aspects of patient care using the nursing process.
• Individualize patient care based on health status, age, and type of surgery or procedure.
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to deliver specialized care.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute operating room environment.
• Strong knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures.
• Excellent understanding of AORN (Association of periOperative Registered Nurses) Standards.
• Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain good working relationships with colleagues.
• Basic computer skills.

Contract Length

• Approximately 13 weeks (89 days rounded to nearest week).
