Job Opportunity: Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: San Francisco, California

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Provide competent, compassionate, and cost-effective patient care in the Emergency Department.
- Follow unit, department, and hospital policies, evidence-based nursing practices, and standards of care.
- May be required to float to other campuses within the system for support as census permits, within scope of practice.
Shift Details
- 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each
- Variable shifts: 7am-7pm, 11am-11pm, 3pm-3am, 7pm-7am
- Every other weekend rotation required; no on-call
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience within the last year
- Certifications:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale Certification)
- Education: Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Additional Requirements
- Must review and sign facility-specific documents including standards of business conduct, vendor training, code of conduct, and regulatory orientation prior to start.
- TB questionnaire completed and signed by healthcare provider within 90 days of start, renewed annually.
- Respiratory safety clearance completed prior to start and renewed annually (not required for some roles).
- Physical exam must state "cleared for work" or equivalent; any work restrictions must be documented.
- Candidates must comply with all background and credentialing requirements prior to start.
