Job Opportunity: CT Technologist
Location: Elmira, New York
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Job Description
Perform duties as a CT Technologist during weekend shifts.
Required Qualifications
- License: Valid CT Technologist state license for New York (State License Verification required within 30 days prior to start)
- Certifications:
- ARRT certification for CT Technologist
- BLS (American Heart Association) certification
- Experience: Minimum years of experience not explicitly stated; ensure ARRT certification and relevant CT technologist experience.
- Skills/Competencies: Completion of unit-specific skills checklist and core competency exams prior to start. Must score 80% or higher on core competency exams.
Health and Safety Requirements
- COVID-19 vaccine proof or agency declination (optional)
- MMR: Positive IgG titer or 2 vaccine series required with documentation
- Fit Test: Must be completed within the last 12 months prior to start (specific mask models required)
- Hepatitis B: Positive antibody titer, 3 vaccine series, or specific declination form required
- Influenza Vaccine: Required or agency-specific declination with mask-wearing during assignment
- TB Test: Valid TB testing within last 12 months (PPD or Quantiferon) with proper documentation
- Varicella: Positive IgG titer or 2 vaccine series required with documentation
- Tdap: Preferred within last 10 years; if not available, declination form required
- Physical/Health Statement: Must be from within the last 12 months, including physician credentials and confirmation of no restrictions
Additional Onboarding Requirements
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License or State ID (not expired)
- Background Check: Must be completed within 30 days of start, including national and county criminal searches for all counties lived/worked in last 7 years
- Drug Screen: 9+ panel drug screen within 30 days of start
- Resume: Detailed employment and education history for last 7 years
- Professional References: Two references required (one supervisor from last 12 months, one supervisor or peer from last 3 years)
- Employment and Education Verification as applicable
- Completion of facility-specific forms and acknowledgments (code of conduct, sexual harassment, parking registration, etc.)
- Completion of facility-specific self-study packet and quiz
