Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit (Neuro Stepdown)

Location: Saint Louis, Missouri
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Details

  • Specialty: Progressive Care – Neuro / Stepdown / Trauma
  • Shift: Nights, 4 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7 PM – 7 AM)
  • Weekly Hours: 48 hours guaranteed
  • Weekend Hours: As needed
  • Call Requirements: None
  • Number of Openings: 2
  • Float Requirements: Float as needed/customary upon request

Unit Information

  • Unit Type: Neuro Trauma Intermediate Progressive Care Unit
  • Patient Type: Neuro Trauma patients
  • Equipment: Standard ICU nursing equipment
  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR): EPIC

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri
  • Minimum 1 year of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience within the last year
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Notes

  • Entry-level experience in Neuro/Stepdown/Trauma is acceptable but 1+ years critical care experience is required.
