Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
Location: Saint Louis, Missouri
Employment Type: Travel
Position Details
- Specialty: Progressive Care / Critical Care
- Shift: Nights, 7 PM – 7 AM (4 shifts per week, 12 hours each)
- Weekly Hours: 48 guaranteed
- Number of Openings: 4
- Patient Population: Adults, approximately 50% medical and 50% telemetry patients
- Patient Ratios: Typically 4-6 patients per nurse
- Unit Type: Stepdown ICU / Progressive Care Unit
- Equipment: Standard nursing equipment for telemetry unit
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR): EPIC
- Float Requirements: Float as needed/customary upon request
- Call Requirements: None
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri
- Minimum 1 year of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and EKG interpretation
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Additional Information
- This role supports a 24/7 stepdown ICU environment.
- Night shift focused with weekend hours as needed.
- Dress code includes black scrubs.
