Required Licenses
- Valid Registered Nurse license for California
- NURSYS verification required
Required Documents & Checks
- Background Check within 45 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years
- Education Verification (nursing degree)
- Physical Exam within 1 year of start
- Drug Testing: 10 Panel Drug Screen within 90 days of start (no instant tests)
- Immunizations and Health Requirements:
- TDAP (within 10 years) or declination
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months, updated annually
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer or declination
- Hepatitis B vaccination series or signed declination
- Varicella vaccination or positive titer or declination
- Flu vaccine during flu season or declination
- COVID vaccine or declination
- Respiratory Safety Clearance (annual medical clearance for respirator use)
- Fit Mask testing (annual, onsite if no recent record)
Additional Requirements
- References: Minimum 2 supervisor references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
- Employment Application: Must include at least last 5 years of employment with month/year format
- Skills Checklist: Required for applicable units, updated annually
- Completion of required WorkRamp training modules prior to start (including regulatory, specialty, and regional modules)
- Photo for badge (passport style with neutral background)
Work Environment & Other Notes
- Scrub Color for RNs: Navy Blue
- Parking available (fees apply)
- Must comply with float policy (may be required to float to other nearby facilities)
- Epic training modules required and must be completed promptly after access is granted
Summary
