Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Location: Salem, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Work on a 24-bed Medical Cardiology Unit.
Rotate shifts: Days, Evenings, Nights, including every other weekend (EOW).
Total hours: 36 hours per week.
Must be able to read telemetry strips and perform cardiac drips.
Provide post-catheterization care including PCI, ICD, PPM, Ablation, TR Band, and femoral approach.
RN to patient ratio:
- Days: 1:5
- Nights: 1:6

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Massachusetts.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Minimum 2 years of cardiology experience, including experience within the last year.
Telemetry experience with the ability to interpret telemetry strips.
Experience performing cardiac drips.
Experience with post-catheterization care including PCI, ICD, Ablation, TR Band, and femoral approach.
