Job Description

As a PET/CT Technologist, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging and exceptional patient care. Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring patient safety through pre-screening for contraindications, aseptic injection techniques, and adherence to radiation safety regulations.
• Producing high-quality PET/CT diagnostic images.
• Communicating effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Training new technologists and/or support staff.
• Troubleshooting imaging equipment, including scanners, mobile coaches, monitors, and PACS.

You will work in various settings such as outpatient centers, mobile units, or hospital-based facilities, requiring flexibility and adaptability.

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in New Jersey
• Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year
• Minimum 1 year of PET/CT (CT/PET) experience
• ARRT (CT) certification
• ARRT (N) certification or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) credentials
• Nuclear Medicine experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.
• Candidates must demonstrate strong communication skills and technical competence.
• Flexibility to work in multiple environments (outpatient, mobile, inpatient) is essential.
