Job Opportunity: Interim Director of Care Management

Location: Oro Valley, Arizona
Employment Type: Interim Leader
Contract Length: 12 weeks (approximately 3 months)
Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (may vary as adjusted by supervisor)
On-Call: 24/7 after-hours call required

Job Description

The Interim Director of Care Management is responsible for overseeing the implementation, development, and management of Care Management and Resource Management programs. This role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, establishes efficient processes for patient care and discharge planning, and provides leadership to the Care Management team. The Director collaborates with staff, physicians, and community resources to deliver patient-centered care and achieve optimal outcomes.

The position includes monitoring and maintaining a team of approximately 13 full-time employees.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Arizona
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• Minimum 2 years of Case Management experience, including experience within the last year
• Experience in Acute Care
• Experience in Director roles

Additional Information

• Maximum allowed time off during the contract: no more than 1 week
• Reason for opening: current person is retiring
