Registered Nurse (RN) - Critical Care (Nights)

Location: Pittsfield, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Unit Size: 20 beds
• Patient Ratio: 1:2
• Shift: Nights
• Dress Code: Personal scrubs of any color
• Orientation: 8 hours non-billable
• Holiday and OT multipliers apply

Key Responsibilities & Requirements

• Must be willing to float to Progressive Care Unit (PCU) as needed
• Block scheduling is not available and will not be considered
• Requests for time off (RTO) must be submitted and approved at the time of application; no more than 5 days of RTO allowed
• Traveler must have their own vehicle (firm requirement)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of current Critical Care experience
• Willingness to float between units required
• Experience with ventilators, ICP monitoring, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Massachusetts RN license (must be uploaded with profile)
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification
• Active American Heart Association ACLS certification
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment
• Critical Care skills checklist current to within 1 year

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Meditech Expanse electronic health record system
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
