Job Opportunity: RN Cath Lab

Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (approximately 13 weeks)

Job Details

• Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM, 4 days per week (4 shifts of 10 hours)
• Call:

  • 1-2 call nights during weekdays (5:00 PM – 6:00 AM)
  • One call weekend every 4th weekend (5:00 PM Friday – 6:00 AM Monday)
  • Holidays covered by call as needed, rotating with regular staff
• Experience Required:

  • Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience
  • Prior travel experience is required
  • Structural heart experience preferred
• Additional Notes:

  • May need to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed
  • Use of EPIC electronic health record system

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Wisconsin
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience, including experience within the last year
• Completion of at least one travel assignment
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system

Onboarding & Compliance Requirements

• Professional credentials including current license verification and background checks
• Immunizations and health screenings:

  • MMR (2 doses or positive titer, no declinations accepted)
  • Hepatitis B vaccination series or signed declination
  • Influenza vaccine during flu season (mask required if declined)
  • Varicella immunity (2 doses or serological evidence, no declinations accepted)
  • Tdap vaccine (valid within 10 years, no declinations accepted)
  • TB screening (2-step PPD or IGRA, chest X-ray if positive)
• Fit testing for respiratory protection (3M 1860 or 1870+ masks)
• Drug screening (12 panel) within 30 days prior to start and annually thereafter
• Health statement or physical exam prior to assignment and updated annually
• Completion of required training modules including Epic test-out and specialty exams
• Professional references and employment verifications

This is a long-term RN Cath Lab assignment in Milwaukee, WI requiring a minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience and prior travel experience.
