Job Opportunity: Acute Care Registered Nurse

Location: Quincy, California
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

This position is responsible for delivering patient care through the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The nurse will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective and efficient patient care and achieve desired patient outcomes. The role supports organizational vision and mission and incorporates patient age and cultural diversity into care delivery. The nurse will also contribute to quality nursing care through performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Minimum of 1 year of Med Surg experience, with Med Surg experience within the last year
• Current certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to utilize the nursing process in providing nursing care, including:

  • Administering treatments and medications
  • Interpreting diagnostic tests
  • Formulating a plan of care
  • Collaborating with other healthcare providers
  • Providing education to patients and/or their significant others
