Downtown Berkeley serves as the city’s vibrant urban hub, home to many art galleries, dining and shopping venues, theaters and the Berkeley Art Museum. The Telegraph Avenue District is iconic as the spot where counterculture arrived in the city, and the '60s vibe still lingers, with street vendors, restaurants, shops and famous bookstores like Moe's.
