    Location: Santa Monica, California
    Employment Type: Travel/Contract
    Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)

    • Start Date: ASAP
    • Experience Required: Minimum 1 year in specialty (Radiology / Cardiology)

    • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

    Required Certifications

    • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
    • BLS (Basic Life Support)

    Required Licenses

    • Must hold a valid California Radiologic Technologist license (CPDH Certificate required)

    Required Qualifications

    • Valid CT Technologist license in California
    • Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year
    • Current ARRT certification
    • Current BLS certification

    Background and Compliance Requirements

    • Background check within 45 days of start covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years; must be updated annually
    • Education verification required
    • Drug screening (10 panel) within 90 days of start
    • Physical exam within 1 year of start
    • Immunizations and health documents required including:
      • TDAP (Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis) vaccine or declination
      • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months, updated annually
      • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer
      • Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination
      • Varicella vaccination or positive titer
      • Flu vaccine during flu season or declination
      • COVID vaccine or declination
    • Respiratory safety clearance required for travel candidates (annual)
    • Fit mask testing required (annual), onsite testing available if needed

    Additional Requirements

    • References: Minimum 2 supervisor references covering 1 year of employment within last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
    • Employment application covering at least last 5 years
    • Skills checklist as applicable, updated annually
    • Radiation badge issued by facility (if applicable)
    • Photo for badge (passport style with neutral background) required

    Training and Competency

    • Completion of required WorkRamp modules prior to start, including:
      • Regulatory requirements
      • Specialty-specific modules for Radiology/Cardiology
      • Epic training modules (if applicable)
    • Competency exams and medication/pharmacology tests as applicable
    • Color blindness testing if required by unit

    Work Expectations

    • May be required to float to other nearby facilities within a reasonable distance
    • Use of scrub colors as designated by unit (not specified for this role)
    • Parking available with associated costs (not detailed here)
