Unit Information
- Level III Unit
- Patient population primarily adults with some pediatrics
- Focus on individualized nursing care for adult/geriatric patients
- The unit practices according to standards of nursing for Med Surg and Pediatrics
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Minimum 1 year of pediatric nursing experience, with pediatric experience within the last year
- Med Surg nursing experience
- Experience working with Epic EMR system
Skills & Experience
- Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care based on theoretical concepts
- Experience working in a Level III trauma center environment preferred
- Comfortable caring for adult and pediatric patients
Additional Information
- Dress code requires black scrubs
- No float or call requirements
