Job Opportunity: Cath Lab Manager

Location: Round Rock, Texas
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Manage daily operations including staffing, productivity, expense management, time card approval, and throughput.
  • Responsible for quality audits, compliance, and RN Supervisor and Team Lead training.
  • Assess quality of patient care and coordinate patient care services with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments.
  • Manage staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict resolution.
  • Oversee scheduling, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements.
  • Monitor departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, contracts, and vendor relations.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with federal, state, and local agencies and regulatory bodies.
  • Maintain productivity standards and supply expense metrics.
  • Accountable for monthly reporting on departmental variances, budget, FTE, and expense variances with associated action plans.
  • Must be willing to assume some on-call shifts as needed.
  • Department is currently fully staffed.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Texas
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Minimum of 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience, including experience within the last year
  • Experience in managerial roles
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
