Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse
Location: Orange, California
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Provide nursing care with knowledge and skills in:
- Antihypertensives
- IV infusion pumps
- PICC Lines care and maintenance
- Infection prevention
- Recognition of communicable disease symptoms and appropriate transmission precautions (NHSN knowledge)
- Accepting first-time travelers
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, including at least 1 year of radiology experience within the last year
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Knowledge of NHSN and access to NHSN resources
- Experience with PICC lines care and maintenance
