Job Opportunity: CT Tech (Travel/Contract)
Location
- Baltimore, Maryland
Contract Details
- Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: May 18, 2026
- Shift: Nights, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (18:30 - 07:00)
- Schedule: Block schedule on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
- Weekend and holiday work required as scheduled
- No floating or on-call duties

Requirements/Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in Maryland
- Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience
- CT Technologist experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- ARRT CT certification
- ARRT Radiography certification
Required Documentation and Compliance
- I9 or Attestation
- Government Issued Photo ID
- E-Verify or Attestation
- Background check including 7-year criminal history, SSN trace, nationwide and sex offender searches, education verification, and Maryland State Exclusions List check
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start
- Education verification for highest level completed
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray per facility guidelines, updated annually
- Fit mask test within 1 year of start (not required for lab professions)
- Immunizations/vaccinations or proof of immunity: Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella (positive titer or vaccines/declinations as applicable)
- Negative drug screen (9 or 10 panel depending on facility) within 30 days prior to start
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption for 2025-26 season
- COVID vaccination not required for this location but documentation collected for tracking
- Two supervisory references within 1 year of start
- Employment application/resume completed within 30 days of start
- Verification of previous 5 years of employment history (attestation accepted if necessary)
- Facility-specific documents including confidentiality agreements, badge photo, dress code review, and others as required prior to start
Uniform/Dress Code
- Navy blue scrubs generally
- Pink scrubs for trauma assignments
- Pediatric department: navy blue scrub pants with child-friendly tops (white short sleeves or navy long sleeves under scrubs)
- Business casual allowed in certain departments (no jeans, no open-toe shoes, no sleeveless tops, no shorts)
Competency Requirements
- Medication/Pharmacology competency exam (score 80%+)
- Color blind testing (one-time, no annual renewal)
- Age-specific competency exam (score 80%+)
- Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam (score 80+), if applicable
- Other certifications and competencies as applicable by profession and specialty
This position is ideal for CT Technologists with at least 2 years of experience, who are comfortable working night shifts on a block schedule including weekends and holidays, and who meet the licensing and compliance requirements for Maryland.
