Description
Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery
Location: Washington, Missouri
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights (3x12 hour shifts)
Weekly Hours: 36 hours
Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend
Unit & Patient Information
- Unit: Labor & Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum, Mother/Baby Couplet
- Number of Beds: 8 Labor & Delivery, 8 Postpartum
- Patient Ratios: Labor 1:1
- Patient Population: Women in antepartum, triage, labor & delivery, recovery, postpartum, and well newborns
- Float Requirements: Labor, Mother Baby, Copalite, Postpartum
- EMR System: EPIC
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Missouri
- Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience, with experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Experience working with Maternal-Fetal patients
- Maternal-Newborn experience
Job Expectations & Skills
- Must be autonomous and able to function independently
- Provide care across Labor & Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum, and Mother/Baby units
- Circulate in OR during Cesarean sections
- Work night shifts with weekend rotation every third weekend
Dress Code
- Scrubs: Blue or scrubs of choice
- No unacceptable attire specified
