Registered Nurse (OR) - Travel Position
Location: Plano, Texas
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Unit Information
- Unit: Operating Room
- Number of Beds: 23
- Number of Staff: 85+
- Patient Ratio: 1:1
- EMR System: Meditech
- Shift Coverage: 24/7 with call required
- Typical Shifts:
- Primary shift: Wednesday to Friday, 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM
- Call shifts: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM Monday to Thursday or 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Sunday night
- Dress Code: Ceil blue or royal blue scrubs for nurses

- Neuro / Spine
- Orthopedic (trauma, total joint, revisions)
- Robotics (gynecology, colorectal, thoracic, urology)
- Plastics
- Trauma (Level 1)
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- Minimum 1 year of Operating Room (OR) experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification
- Experience in Orthopedics
- Experience in Plastic Surgery
- Experience in Trauma
