Work Schedule

• 4 shifts per week

  • 2 weekday shifts: 8 hours each
  • 2 weekend shifts: 12 hours each (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Typical shift hours: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM (10 hours per day, 40 hours per week)

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Florida
• Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year

Required Documentation & Compliance

• Proof of I9 or attestation
• Government-issued photo ID (must be carried during hours of service)
• Proof of E-Verify or attestation
• Background checks including:

  • 7-year criminal history check within one year of start, updated annually
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start and updated for contract renewals
  • Education verification (primary source) for all laboratory personnel
• Drug screening: Negative 10-panel drug screen within 1 year of start (no annual update required)
• Physical exam: Physician statement within last 12 months
• Immunizations and health screenings:

  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year (annual updates required)
  • TB questionnaire for past positive TB cases
  • Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella: 2 vaccines or positive titer; exemptions for candidates born before 1957
  • Hepatitis B: Titer, vaccine series, or declination accepted
  • Varicella: 2 vaccines, titer, or history of chickenpox
  • Seasonal flu vaccine required during flu season (10/31–3/31); medical/religious exemptions allowed but declinations not accepted
  • COVID-19 vaccination: 2 doses Pfizer or Moderna OR 1 dose Johnson & Johnson required; no declinations allowed; boosters not required currently; medical/religious exemptions require agency-approved documentation
• References:

  • 2 professional references within 2 years for travel/allied/per diem/acute care positions
• Employment application required
• Skills checklist updated annually for applicable unit
• Florida AHCA Level II fingerprint results per state requirements

Facility-Specific Requirements

• Completion of online onboarding and training modules prior to start (must be done on a computer using Google Chrome; includes COVID documentation submission)
• COVID-19 exemption form must be uploaded if applicable (only agency-approved exemption form accepted)
• Radiation badge issued by facility as applicable

This position offers a structured schedule with a mix of weekday and weekend shifts, requiring a Florida radiography license and certifications in BLS and ACLS. Candidates must comply with comprehensive background checks, health screenings, and facility-specific onboarding protocols.
